Registration of 15 teams
The 13th annual Alzheimer's Memory walk 2006 was held last week in South Hill with 15 tams and 57 individuals participating the two mile walk. Here the walk gets underway as they take off down the street from Centennial Park.

Applebee's had a team in the walk and they also raised money by hosting the pancake breakfast. The first time team also provided the food for the event. Here, their walkers reach the half way mark.
Jane Clark caregivers spokesperson, was emotional as she talked about caring for both of her parents who suffered from Alzheimer's, and then losing them both within nine months.

The following awards were presented during the Memory Walk 2006 last Thursday. Highest individual fundraiser, Pam Gilbert, Highest team fund raiser The Ruby Slippers with captain Robin McGee, oldest walker 83 year old Lil Griffith, youngest walker, 18 month old Dylan Cook with his dad, and back row, first walker in was Mark Roberts.
