The South Hill Chamber of Commerce had an information booth at Bike VA registration and directed hundred of cyclists to events in town.

Mr. Potato Head performed for a huge crowd of a thousand people Saturday night in South Hill during the Bike Virginia's festivities.
South Hill Ruritan Club members assisted Ephesus Baptist Church with the watermelon and fruit at the Bike VA rest stop.

The first married couple in the history of the South Hill Ruritan Club recently joined the local civic organization.
The South Hill Rotary Club presented Steve and SandyJakubowski, a framed, autographed Mr. Potato Head Poster and bicycle horn to announce their newly married status as a souvenir of their time in South Hill. The band performed for the cyclists on Saturday night at Market Square. Tommy Zincone with the Rotary Club made the presentation.
